NSCN (I-M) chairman, Q. Tuccu on the occasion of 41st NSCN Raising Day said “Nagas must also move to change for the better or perish.” Tuccu further asserted that Nagas must change in all fields through revolution. “Revolution will stay in our land so long as our sovereign right to decide our future by ourselves is suppressed,” he stated. Tuccu said that the Framework Agreement signed with Centre on August 3, 2015 was historic as it recognised the unique history and sovereignty of Nagas. He remarked, “We believe this agreement will open a new era for a new relationship between the people, if the Indian leaders do not go back on their word.”
