Naiba Konyak inaugurates CHC Changlangshu

The Community Health Centre (CHC) Changlangshu was inaugurated on July 8 by MLA of 55 Tobu A/C, Naiba Konyak, in the presence of CMO Mon, Dr. Supongmenla Walling; Dy. CMO, Dr. Aonungdok; SDO (Civil) Monyakshu; and officials from the medical department.
According to DIPR report, the monolith was dedicated by secretary of ECS Longpang, Rev. Dr. Chingmak. Addressing the gathering, Naiba Konyak thanked health minister, P. Paiwang Konyak, for his support in strengthening the CHC and acknowledged the efforts of former minister, S. Pangnyu Phom, for initiating the upgradation. He also appreciated the community’s role in completing the project.
CMO Mon expressed gratitude to the community and ECS for their involvement in the development of the health centre. Rev. Dr. Chingmak said the upgradation from PHC to CHC reflected the results of collective efforts by stakeholders and implementing agencies. Konyak Union Tobu Unit president, Ngamlao, said several health units in the area still face manpower shortages and urged the department to make all centres fully functional. Leaders from Tobu and neighbouring villages attended the programme.
