Northern Angami Public Organization (NAPO) has come out in defence of APO vice president and NTAC convenor K.T Vilie, stating that Vilie was selected by NAPO to represent Angami community in APO for his “capable and efficient leadership” and not as claimed by NPF.
NAPO president Neiyalie Pfusenuo and general secretary Helievio Solo said that Vilie was chosen not because he was once PS to Neiphiu Rio, but to lead the Angami community as well as NTAC Kohima for his able leadership.
Therefore, NAPO termed NPF allegation as baseless and direct challenge to the Angami community and Nagas as a whole.
NAPO also asked NPF central to shun its “disdainful habit of frequently jumping in and politicizing” genuine issues and also not to mislead the people with such unfounded allegation, as it only “portrayed the shallowness and immaturity of their politicking”.
Further, Northern Angami Public Organization reaffirmed its stand to support the leadership of K.T Vilie for bringing about better future.
