Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) has appreciated Social Welfare Department (SWD) for their prompt action in advertising two important posts under the Sakhi-One Stop Centre, Kohima, noting that timely advertisement has underscored the commitment of the department to strengthen services for women and improve the effectiveness of the centre.
“In response to the letter No. SW/MS/OSC-K/GEN/2023/470, dated 5th December 2023, the Social Welfare Department has successfully initiated the recruitment process for the positions of Centre Administrator and Case Worker (Legal), as indicated in the notification No NL/MS-HR/2023/652, dated 27th November 2024”, NASU said.
NASU said that those positions were critical to the functioning of the Sakhi-One Stop Centre (OSC) under the Centrally sponsored scheme Mission Shakti, as it plays a vital role in providing support and assistance to women affected by violence and other social issues in the region.
NASU appreciated the ongoing efforts of the SWD in enhancing the welfare services for the people of Nagaland and look forward to continued collaboration for the betterment of society.
