National BJP general secretary (Org), Ramlal, arrived in Nagaland for a three-day tour from November 17-19 to oversee overall actives of the party for the forthcoming general election. He was accompanied by BJP general secretary (org) north east in-charge, Ajay Jamwal.
In a press release, BJP Nagaland media cell informed that on November 17 in Dimapur, Ramlal held meetings with various BJP state level cells and departments, conveners and co-conveners, two booth level committees of 53 and 62 under Dimapur-2, business community and senior party members. Addressing state office bearers, core committee members and all frontal presidents and secretaries at Kohima BJP head office, Ramla said that the present NDA government at the centre under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, had undertaken various innovative steps and measures for the welfare of the poor, oppressed and unprivileged section of people.
He asserted the party workers that BJP’s top priority under Narendra Modi was to deliver development and good governance to the people of the country and states like Nagaland.
On the ongoing Naga peace talk, he said that the BJP government was serious about early and lasting solution and added that development would move faster in the state only with a peaceful atmosphere.
Later in the evening at Japfu Hotel, an intensive meeting was held with BJP legislators, whereby strategies were discussed and reviewed about the feedback on the government and organisation, informed the release.
