National Lok Adalat (People’s Courts) will be observing in all the district headquarters under the aegis of Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) on December 14. This will be the fourth and final Lok Adalat to be conducted this year in quarterly basis.
A total of 11 Lok Adalat Benches at district courts will be set up by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSAs).
In the last National Lok Adalat, conducted in the state on September 14, 2019, 677 disputes/cases were listed and 147 cases were resolved and disposed off amicably.
The total amount of settlement involved in the disposed cases was Rs. 99,41,305.
The disposal data of each DLSAs will be uploaded on the web portal of the state authority at nslsa.nagalandgov.in.
