National seminar on ‘exploring potential of food processing in NE states’, Nov 20

All India Food Processors’ Association (AIFPA) in association with North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Ltd. (NERAMAC) would be organizing a national seminar on “Exploring Potential of Food Processing in North Eastern States” with specific reference to Nagaland on November 20 at  Hotel Acacia (Near Railway Station) Dimapur, Nagaland. The Seminar is supported by Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.
In a press statement, AIFPA executive secretary D. V. Malhan said the organizers have requested chief minister of Nagaland T.R. Zeliang to inaugurate the seminar as chief guest while parliament secretary for industries & commerce, Amenba Yaden will be the guest of honour. Keynote address will be delivered by Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries government of India  Ranglal Jamuda, IAS while various experts in this  field have been invited to make presentations on various topics of the seminar, informed organizers.
AIFPA & NERAMAC has invited entrepreneurs and farmers to participate and/ or nominate their colleagues to attend the seminar and avail the opportunity. It said no delegate fee would be charged for attending the seminar.
It has been informed that there are limited seats available for which registration would be on first-come first-register basis. Interested participants have been asked to mail their names to AIFPA latest by November 19 preferably by email at e-mail:- harender@aifpa.net , vishal@aifpa.net.
