NBA announces state trials for NEBL U19 Men

The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that state trials for the upcoming North East Elite Basketball League (U19 Men) will be held on May 9, 1 PM at the Indoor Stadium, Medziphema. The initiative is jointly organized by ABC Basketball Development League Pvt. Ltd. (ABC), ACG and the State Basketball Associations of the Northeast.
The trials are open to all eligible players born on or after January 1, 2007. Participants must be permanent residents of Nagaland, above 15 years of age, and present their original Aadhaar card and birth certificate for verification. From the trials, 15 players will be shortlisted to represent Nagaland in the final selection process in Aizawl, Mizoram.
League Pathway: Nagaland Trials on May 9 at Indoor Stadium, Medziphema; Official selection trials on May 18–19 in Aizawl; Draft pick ceremony on May 20 in Aizawl; Team camp reporting on June 19 in Aizawl; and League dates from June 22 – July 2 in Aizawl.
Selected players will receive free accommodation, food and hospitality during the Aizawl trials, along with travel reimbursement as per 3rd AC train fare policy. The Draft Ceremony on May 20 will officially assign players to 10 franchise teams, marking the start of their professional journey in the NEBL.

The NEBL is designed to elevate grassroots basketball in the Northeast, and we are committed to ensuring Nagaland’s brightest players seize this chance to shine,” said Sentiningsang Longkumer, Honorary representative of the NBA.
