The Nagaland Bar Association (NBA) organised a legal awareness program in Longleng as part of its yearlong golden jubilee celebrations, on February 27 at the DC’s conference hall.
A press release by NBA joint secretary, N. Kevichusa stated that the resource persons spoke on various topics such as women’s rights, role of GBs, DBs and village councils and various welfare schemes available to the public.
The program was attended by the DC, GBs and Dobashis of Longleng district. With the first of these programs being flagged off in Peren, the Nagaland Bar Association will continue its yearlong campaign in all districts as part of its jubilee celebrations.
These programs are being organised in collaboration with the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA).
