The Nagaland Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (NBBFA) officially inducted its new executive body for the 2025–2028 tenure during its General Body Meeting held on Friday at Life Fitness, Kohima.
In a press release from the association, the meeting marked a formal handing over of responsibilities to the newly appointed team, aimed at strengthening the state’s bodybuilding and fitness movement in the coming years.
The new executive body will be headed by T. Chubaonen Ao as president, with Vikehielie Mechülho as vice president. Thejakhrietuo Kire has been appointed general secretary, while Alex Murry will serve as joint secretary. James Murry has been named treasurer, K Aito Chophi as information and publicity secretary, and Chubalemla Ao will serve as women co-ordinator.
The executive members include Dzesevizo Sekhose, Vekulhou Koza, and Abeto K Achumi
In a move to decentralize its outreach and enhance fitness promotion across the state, the association also introduced district representatives for several regions. These include R. Tiameren Jamir (Mokokchung), Amos Ezung (Wokha), David Wangrha (Mon), Ketsüi Chale (Kohima), and Rinzin Newmai (Peren).
Additionally, a Tribunal Board has been constituted comprising Thepfungunyu Teiso Solo, Kevilezo Sote, C. Mayang Longchar, and Hukupa Ciekhan.
