Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan (NBBSS) Dimapur unit organised a felicitation programme for Bengali speaking meritorious students of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) 2023, and prize giving ceremony for winners of “1st Inter-School Art Competition-2023” Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on July 1.
A press release by NBBSS Dimapur stated that the programme was held on the eve of 100 years completion of NBBSS, an India Bangla literary and cultural organization with its head office in New Delhi.
The meritorious students were felicitated by the dignitaries and distinct special guests, associate professor department of Bangla from Gauhati University, Dr. Sanjay Bhattacharjee; assistant professor Bengali) from Rabindranath Tagore University, Hojai, Dr. Saikat Raut and NBBSS North-Eastern Region president, Bidhan Deb Roy.
The special guests also delivered keynote addresses. The merit certificates to the winners of the art competition were handed out by NBBSS Dimapur unit president, Monoj Bhattacharjee.
