NBCC choir attends NBY conference

Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) youth choir consisting 26 members had participated in the National Baptist Youth (NBY) conference held at Lunglei, Mizoram, from April 23-26 on the theme “Rise and shine” hosted by Baptist Church of Mizoram (BCM).
The conference was organized by Baptist Youth Fellowship of India (BYFI). Rengma Baptist Churches (RBC) represented NBCC youth. The team presented choir song in community worship and cultural item at the cultural programme.
The main speakers included the general secretary of Asia Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF), Rev. P Bony Resu and the APBF president Rev. Dr. Vesekhoyi Tetseo. Asha Sanchu, Peter T Kent and Vikuo Rhi from NBCC also attended the conference.
During the conference, a new team for the tenure 2015-19 was also elected headed by Vikuo Rhi (Nagaland) as president, S Henry (Maharastra) as vice president, Rev. Liachunga (Mizoram) as secretary, Rev. Salem Bikram Kumar (Bengal, Orisa) as assistant secretary, Thingrim Sangma (Lower Assam) as treasurer, Samuel Lalremsanga (Mizoram) as advisor and all convention youth secretaries as executive members.
