Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) has congratulated Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger, its incumbent president, on being appointed as president of the National Council of Churches of India (NCCI). In a press note, NBCC general secretary Rev. Dr. Z. Keyho, on behalf of counicl, said they were proud that one of their own members was leading a national organization like NCCI. NBCC prayed for God’s wisdom and grace as he leads the Churches in India to greater heights and cooperation. It further expressed its support and solidarity to the new leadership.
