NBCC plea to tribal, political leaders on ULB

As the current imbroglio over the process of holding election to Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) turned ugly with incident of violence reported and various tribal bodies announcing to hold protests, the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) has appealed to all the leaders to come together in humility to the negotiating table to resolve the differences instead of becoming “stubborn and vindictive”.
While expressing anguish on the issue, NBCC appealed to the tribal and political leaders to show their maturity and resolve the conflict for the common good. NBCC further, said that leaders whether in political or organization, were not perfect and that there might be lack of trust and confidence and political vision from their part that could have spiralled uncontrollable degree of anger and frustration among the citizens.
At such time, NBCC appealed to all the leaders to exercise the God’s given wisdom. Cautioning that the present conflict might create division in the society, the NBCC in the name of Christ called upon all responsible leaders to find an amicable solution.
