NBCD bans; informs

Notun Bosti Council Dimapur (NBCD) has directed all alcohol/local brew sellers within its jurisdiction to close shop within 25 days of this notification.
In a press note, NBCD chairman E Jon Ezung and secretary Kavito N Ayemi informed that the council has banned bootlegging and sale of tobacco products within the colony warning that defaulters would be fined Rs. 5000. The union stated the resolution was decided and approved in the general body meeting keeping in view the health hazards and menace associated with such products. 
Further, NBCD also informed dog owners to properly chain and control their pets warning that it would impose fine for failure to comply with the order in the first offence. 
In case of repeated failure to comply with the order, the union warned of shooting the dog and in the event of the dog biting a person, the owner would be fined Rs. 5000 for medical expenditure.
