NBDA & CBTC conduct product development training

Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA) in collaboration with Cane and Bamboo Technology Centre (CBTC), Guwahati, under the aegis of North Eastern Council, conducted product development training at Kangtsung village for 10 days from May 14 to 23.  

A press release from NBDA stated that, the training was imparted to the villagers by expert trainers from CBTC, Gwahati, Anwar Hussain and Kolida. They urged the participants to utilize the adequate availability of raw material like bamboo in the region and convert it into decorative domestic or other commercialized products to improve economic status and self reliant life. 

CBTC also approved to set up a Common Facility Centre (CFC) at Kangtsung village for Tuli cluster which will be monitored and supervised by NBDA for successful implementation of the project.
