Nagaland Bee-keeping and Honey Mission (NBHM) in collaboration with Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), under the initiative of Moa Sangtam, chief administrative officer, DMC, distributed 40 bee-keeping boxes to the beneficiaries at United Colony, ward No, 20 Dimapur.
A press release from NBHM stated that, distribution programme was organised under the banner of “A Better Dimapur”, wherein Ntsemo Ngullie, chairman, NBHM graced the occasion as special invitee.
Ngullie encouraged educated unemployed youths to take up this mission seriously and upgrade bee-keeping to a commercial and scientific level, as it was beneficial. He appealed to the educated unemployed youth to avail the opportunity as no government the day could afford to provide government jobs to every individual. He also explained that Naga honey has been applauded all over the world as the best honey and the demand was rapidly increasing.
The function was chaired by Kenneth Tsopoe, general secy, Dimapur District GB Association.
