NBSE has informed all the Heads of Institutions that INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme a flagship program will be jointly implemented by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and National Innovation Foundation (NIF)-India with a basic objective to instil creative/innovative thinking among school students in the age group of 10-15 years and studying in class 6-10.
According to DIPR report, the MANAK Scheme envisages to target one million original/innovative ideas from students studying in more than five lakh middle and high schools across the country and select the best ideas having potential to cater to societal needs and applications, for an INSPIRE Award.
Therefore the registered schools under the INSPIRE- MANAK Scheme, in each financial year, can nominate five best ideas from their schools, through online mode, in E Management of INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme (E-MIAS) web portal (www.inspireawards-dst.gov.in).
The online nominations for 2024-25, commenced on July 1, 2024 and the schools will be able to submit their online nominations till September 15, 2024. Therefore, all registered schools have been requested to take necessary action.
