NBSE notifies on COBSE

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified all concerned that it is a member Board of the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE).
According to DIPR, NBSE has informed that it grants reciprocal recognition to the certificates of examinations conducted by the member Boards/ Councils of COBSE only.
NBSE has informed that it admits only the students who have studied from the member Boards/Councils of COBSE and on fulfillment of the criteria prescribed by the Board. As such, it notified that all registered institutions shall admit only those students who have been certified passed or qualified at an examination by a member Board or Council of COBSE.
Before admitting, the institution has been asked to verify and check that the student have studied and appeared in the Core subjects i.e. Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, English and a Second language.
