NBSE reiterates mandatory APAAR ID compliance

DIMAPUR

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has once again reminded all affiliated institutions of the mandatory implementation of the APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry ID) as the primary student identifier for the academic session 2025–2026.
In a directive issued to schools, NBSE stated that every enrolled student must be assigned a valid APAAR ID through the official UDISE-enabled portal. All academic records, transfers, assessments, and co-curricular data are to be mapped to this unique identifier to ensure seamless tracking and integration.
The Board has emphasized that compliance must be completed before the commencement of final term registrations. Institutions have been advised to refer to the detailed notification issued on January 28, 2025, for procedural guidelines, timelines, and available support mechanisms. NBSE cautioned that failure to comply may result in delays in record processing, examination registration, and other academic administrative functions.
