NC appeals for relief donations for Mon victims

KOHIMA, JUL 26 (NPN): Naga Club has appealed to citizens, churches, charitable organisations, educational institutions, business establishments and well-wishers to donate relief materials for families affected by the recent natural calamities in Mon, Tizit and Naginimora.
In a public appeal, the club said many families had suffered extensive losses, including damage to homes and the loss of food supplies, clothing and essential household belongings. It said every contribution, irrespective of its size, would provide comfort and hope to those facing difficult circumstances.
The club sought donations of rice, dal, cooking oil, potatoes, onions, salt, sugar, tea and other food items. It also appealed for blankets, new or clean used clothes, pillows, mosquito nets in good condition, household utensils, kitchen items, buckets, mugs, toiletries, hygiene products and other useful relief materials.
The club informed that relief materials could be deposited at the collection centre managed by Robert N. Solo at VANDA, APMC Market, PR Hills, below NSF Martyrs’ Park, Kohima. For further information, donors may contact him at 7005368147 or 9856141569.
It requested donors to obtain an official receipt for every donation and clearly indicate whether the contribution was intended for Mon, Tizit or Naginimora to facilitate proper distribution of relief materials.
Expressing gratitude to all individuals and organisations willing to contribute, the club said collective efforts would help ease the suffering of affected families and reflect the spirit of compassion, unity and service during a time of need.
