In commemoration of observance of World Plastic Bag Free Day, National Cadet Corpse (NCC) of Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) took part in civic activity of cleanliness drive along Sangtamtilla stretch of Dhansiri River, Dimapur on July 3.
A press release by LFI through its information desk, stated that a team of 40 NCC Cadets – Junior Division and Senior Wing of Livingstone Foundation International (LFI), along with Associate NCC Officer, Second Officer (S/O) Kajenkala T Longchar, took part in the cleanliness drive.
The cadets cleaned up plastic wastes and other debris on both banks. The drive was undertaken as part of the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan (PSA), initiated by National Cadet Corps (NCC) to conduct social service and community development activities from July 3 to 9.
