Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has appealed to various unions and organizations including Naga political groups and state government agencies to desist from all forms of unauthorized collection during this festive season.
In a press release, president T Bangerloba and general secretary Thsapongkyu Sangtam said illegal collection has done nothing good, but has been distorting the market with uncontrolled inflation in all prices. NCD has appealed to all sections of the people to make a conscious effort to cease “this illegal activity of tax collection” during the festive seasons.
Meanwhile, NCD has extended Christmas greetings and a blessed New Year to all the citizens.
