Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) office bearers and the newly installed Naga Woman Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) held an informal and introductory meeting, on Wednesday at the NCD office Dimapur.
In a press release, NCD informed that its president, Etsungmomom Kikon congratulated the new office bearers of NWHD and assured them the NCD’s support and assistance within its limited resources.
During the meeting, the two apex civil society organisations of Dimapur district discussed the importance of mutual understanding and decided to work hand-in-hand for the well-being and to safeguard the interest of the public at large of the district.
Sharing various activities of the council, NCD members encouraged NWHD saying that “the participation of woman/mothers in all round activities have become imperative in building the confidence, shaping and guiding the present societies”.
NWHD president, Duoneinuo Kire thanked NCD for organising the meeting to get familiarize with each other, work in strength and with better cooperation.
