NCD, TSUD condemn vandalism of NSF office

Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) and Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) have condemned the act of vandalism of Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) office on May 27.
NCD president, Etsungmomo Kikon and general secretary, LK. Peter Anal termed the act as uncivilized and said that intentionally damaging the respectable image of NSF was highly condemnable. NCD said the house where the office of NSF has been functioning was hand-made Naga Heritage structure worth-preserving for the years to come. The council further appealed to law enforcing agencies to book the miscreants and take necessary action according to the law of the land.
TSUD: Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has strongly condemned the destruction of offices of Naga Students’ Federation and All Nagaland College Students’ Union in the wee hours on May 27.
TSUD in a condemnation note by its president, Vibozo and assistant general secretary, Asinuo Dahou said the action was an insult not only to the NSF, the apex body of the Naga Students Units but also to all the Nagas in general. TSDU appealed to the concerned authority to take necessary action at the earliest.
The union also assured unwavering support to the NSF in “whatever measures and course of action that may be initiated”
