The Naga Council Dimapur Vigilance Committee (NCDVC) has called for an emergency meeting with all Dimapur based civil society organizations (CSOs), tribal hohos and all registered, unregistered unions under Dimapur district on October 17, 2023 at Naga Council Dimapur office conference hall at 11 a.m.
In a press note, Naga Council Dimapur vigilance committee convener Joseph Lemtur and co-convener Hotoshe Sumi said that the meeting has been called to discuss some important agendas and issues regarding “extreme public grievances” and prevailing “overabundance of unions & organizations in Dimapur district.”
In this regard, the committee has extended invitation to over 100 organizations/unions/hohos etc. and requested all its presidents, general secretaries or representatives to attend the meeting positively without fail. Western Sumi Hoho and Chakroma Public Organization have also been extended special invitation, the commitee, stated.
