Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) national general secretary, spokesperson and incharge of Northeast, Narendra B. Verma released the NCP Nagaland manifesto at Hammock resort, New Wokha Village on February 17 in the presence of NCP candidate for 38 Wokha A/C, Y. Mhonbemo Humtsoe, and party workers.
Speaking at the programme Verma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi regime will come to an end soon as inflation and unemployment in the country was at peak with major recession in the market.
He accused BJP under Modi leadership for putting the farmers at risk where many of farmers lose their lives.
He also spoke on the ideology of NCP as a pro-women empowerment and secular political party where it has 50 percent reservation for women Panchayat (local self-government), and women were recruited into navy, arm-forces and air-force.
He further said that NCP was determined to strengthen the government machineries and administration in ensuring good governance and administration in tune with various development vision.
Y. Mhonbemo Humtsoe in his speech expressed gratitude to the party Supremo Sharad Pawar NCP National president and Narendra B. Verma national general secretary, spokesperson and incharge of Northeast and assured that NCP in the state will shine and progress in the upcoming Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election 2023.
