The NCRC Sümi, in collaboration with Nagaland Interserve Ministry, Dimapur, organized a five-day ‘Holistic Counselling Training’ for church leaders in February and March.
The theme was ‘Biblical worldview and integrated psychological skills for pastors’. The Potters Touch, Dimapur, led the training, covering vital topics like holistic care in suicide crisis intervention, music therapy and pastoral counselling, ethical norms for hospital visits, temperaments from a biblical perspective and holistic care in family, couple, and youth counselling.
As part of the practical training, the pastors visited Civil Hospital Dimapur twice, providing care and prayer to around 80 inpatients. 37 pastors completed the course.
