Nagaland NCRC Women’s Association holds first convention

DIMAPUR

NCRC Women’s Association (NCRCWA) held its first Convention from November 14 to 16, 2025 at NCRC Sumi Dimapur Town, Burma Camp, under the theme of spiritual renewal and empowerment. The three-day programme was marked by powerful teachings, fervent intercession, and uplifting choral presentations.
The Convention featured five services beginning Friday evening and concluding Sunday evening, led by prominent women leaders including Kesono Chiezou, treasurer NCRCWA; M. Lipen, women secretary NCRC Phom Council; Alila Trakha, secretary Pochury CRCWA; Nini Sekhose, pastor, Garden Mission CRC Sovima; and Kalitoli Jakhalu, women pastor, NCRC Sumi Purana Bazar.
The Convention Hall was dedicated by Rev. Wabangla, while the NCRCWA flag was unfurled by Kaholi P. Achumi. In her welcome address, NCRCWA president Kaholi Piketo Achumi introduced the office bearers and finance committee members. Presidents of various Tribal Women Associations and Tribal Council Representatives were also felicitated during the programme.
Keynote speakers delivered impactful messages on Biblical womanhood and Christian influence. Rev. Dr. Neikeduozo Paphino, president NCRC, spoke on “Clothed with Strength and Dignity”, reflecting on the challenges and divine grace that led to the formation of NCRCWA and the Nagamese Council. Rev. Dr. Imchayanger (Ao NCRC Dimapur) shared on “Birthing Revival through Travailing Prayer”, drawing parallels with the story of Hannah.
Nini Sekhose, advisor NCRCWA, spoke on “Women of Influence – Called for Such a Time as This”, highlighting Biblical women who rose through crisis. Dr. Sentilemla, principal, Nagaland Bible College, spoke on “Equipped & Empowered – The Role of Women in God’s Mission”, while Dr. Nighatoli P. Achumi, pastoral counselor, addressed “Embracing God-Given Identity”, encouraging women to affirm their worth and healing through godly counsel.
Choral presentations were rendered by choirs from Angami ACRTK, Ao Tetsur Mungdang Ao Council NCRC, NCRC Sumi Women, Chakhesang CRC Women Association, and the Council of Christian Revival Churches Nagamese Women Association. Special numbers were presented by Lotha Women Association, Sangtam Yimkhuing CRC Women, and Pochury CRC Women. An advance prayer group led by Hokali Swu, women pastor NCRC Chekiye, covered the Convention in intercessory prayer from November 13 to 16.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Anungla Aier, vice president NCRCWA. The Association expressed gratitude to all participants, prayer supporters, and contributors. Special appreciation was extended to the Finance Committee led by Atoli Achumi (convenor), Khrienuo Tachü (treasurer), and Sukhali Assumi (finance secretary). NCRC Sumi Dimapur Town was also acknowledged for hosting the event and managing decorations, catering, and logistics.
