Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) Phek division has reiterated its full support to Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union on awarding contract/supply works without open tender by government departments.
A press note by NCSU Phek division president Zhosheyi and secretary Razou Lohe stated that such” illegal activities” should be put to halt immediately and no contract/supply works should be awarded to any person without producing NCSU ID cards.
The unit also pointed out that the government standing order should be implemented in letter and spirit.
It further stated that as per guidelines of the head office, Kohima the Phek division NCSU would henceforth check those departments not adhering to the government standing order and report such illegal practices to the head office so that proper action could be initiated against those defaulting departments.
