NCYM jubilee gets underway

Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Economics and Statistics, Government of Manipur, Francis Ngajokpa, would be the chief guest of the Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement Jubilee celebrations on January 11 which would be held at Mary Help of Christians Cathedral, Kohima, while the Bishop of Nagaland, Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, would be the main celebrant and DIGP (HQ), Nagaland Police, K Elias Lotha, would be the guest of honour.
The 5-day celebration which began from January 8 would culminate on January 12. The main speakers for the celebration included Rev. Fr. Kokto Kurien, Assistant Priest of St. Francis Church, Shamator; Rev. Fr. PX Francis SDB, Rector, Don Bosco, Maram; V Lucas Meyase, Retired Director, School Education, Nagaland; and Rev. Fr. CP Anto, Director of Peace Channel & Principle, NEISSR, Dimapur. On January 10, NCYM members would undertake social works at various colonies of the State capital Kohima under its social awareness drive programme. There would be a seminar on ecumenical movement of Christian faith on January 11to be moderated by Jonas Yanthan.
