The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), Mokokchung Region, held oath taking and felicitation ceremony for the 67-member office bearers of NDPP 24 Angetyongpang A/C, at the 24 A/C treasurer’s residence on August 24.
NDPP Mokokchung Region president, Mangyangnungba, while delivering his presidential address, prior to administering the oath taking and felicitation, said “as NDPP party workers, we should feel privileged to be serving for the people under the dynamic and able leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio and party president Chingwang, who have architectured the PDA government for the second term.
Mangyangnungba, highlighted that the NDPP was born on May 17, 2017 and was recognised by the Election Commission of India in the month of October 2017. He said that ‘NDPP was a regional political party with a nationalist outlook’.
The president urged the party workers of NDPP 24 Angetyongpang A/C to work with sincerity and dedication, through the principles and ideology of the party.
President 24 Angetyongpang A/C, Nungshimangyang while delivering his acceptance speech, stated that the oath administration was the first of its kind, which was a privilege, since they now truly feel affiliated with the party.
He said that it was a proud moment to announced that NDPP 24 Angetyongpang AC has a strength of 5090 party members with 67 A/C office bearers.
Short speeches were also delivered by Women Organisition president, Arenla Pongen, Youth Organisition president, Bendang Walling, Agri. & Allied president, Imsunungsang of NDPP Mokokchung Region and 24 AC vice president, Dr. Imtinungba.
The ceremony was chaired by Lipokyapang, welcome address by Marchizung while the dedicatory prayer was pronounced by N Angum Jamir and invocation by Tiakala.
