NDPP 5 Ghaspani II A/C after thorough deliberation at the meeting held on March 27 at Sovima, constituted an Assembly Constituency Election Committee for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. In a press statement, media cell of NDPP 5 Ghaspani II A/C Media Cell informed that the committee will be headed by advisor of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Zhaleo Rio with Miathou Krose, advisor CEB, NDPP as campaign director and senior party leaders as star Campaigners for effective and smooth election campaign.
At the meeting, Zhaleo Rio appealed to the party workers to give their best and share the party policies/programmes and achievements to the voters during the campaign. He reminded the party workers that it was an opportunity for them to exhibit their loyalty and dedication to the party by ensuring a resounding victory to the PDA consensus candidate Dr. Chumben Murry.
He said that the PDA consensus candidate has the support of all the 60 MLAs and political parties including independent candidate who have declared to wholeheartedly support the consensus candidate under the oppositionless government headed by chief minister, Neiphiu Rio for early resolution of the protracted Naga political issue, on-going ENPO issue and for overall development in the State. The meeting was attended by NDPP 5 Ghaspani II Assembly Constituency party functionaries, NDPP Village Unit representatives and Central Leaders of NDPP.
