NDPP Chümou region endorses merger with NPF

DIMAPUR

Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Chümoukedima Region held a consultative meeting at CTC Hall, Chümoukedima Town on the proposed merger between NDPP and Naga Peoples Front (NPF) on October 1.
According to a press release issued by NDPP Chümoukedima Region, the meeting was attended by advisor of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Zhaleo Rio, NDPP senior vice president Charlie Sekhose, and other party functionaries.
Speakers at the meeting deliberated on the significance of the merger, with the house unanimously endorsing the decision taken during the NDPP Central Executive Board (CEB) meeting held on September 12 at the party’s Kohima headquarters.
The meeting was chaired by NDPP Chümoukedima Region general secretary, Shikato Swu, and witnessed participation from Central Executive Body members, regional executives, assembly constituency representatives and grassroots functionaries including village units.
