NDPP rank and file has offered congratulations to its president Chingwang Konyak, on being conferred the 1st Jayaprakash Narayan Memorial Trust award, on October11, at the Rhodendron Hall, Police Guest House, Chumukedima Dimapur. NDPP M&CC also conveyed its appreciation to the Jayaprakash Narayan Memorial Trust for acknowledging Chingwang Konyak, with the award who is a social activist from his early ages and a seasoned and senior politician in Nagaland, elected seven times member of the Nagaland State Legislative Assembly and a two time member of Parliament to the Lok Sabha.
