
Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) speaker, Sharingain Longkumer Saturday, launched Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) constitution in Ao, here at NDPP Mokokchung region office, Sangtemla ward under the initiative of NDPP youth organisation, Mokokchung.
While delivering his speech, Sharingain Longkumer said that the NLA session ended smoothly due to the merger of the NPF (former opposition) with the DAN government, which he stated was a progressive approach towards the final push with a common front, to an early Naga political solution.
Sharingain also shared that the launch of the constitution in the Ao was very progressive since the manifesto of NDPP would reach the grassroots level. In this regard, he lauded the youth organisation of Mokokchung region for the initiative.
Earlier, short speeches were delivered by advisor, technical education & election, Medo Yhokha and NDPP regional president N Bendang Jamir.
The programme was chaired by NDPP Mokokchung region youth organisation while introductory note was delivered by president, Bendang Walling.
