NDPP dismisses merger rumours

The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party party has dismissed the rumour circulating is social media that the NDPP-BJP alliance had decided on a merger of the two parties.
A press release from NDPP media & communications committee called this rumour ‘propaganda’ and assured citizens of the state that they would stand firm on the commitments they had given to the electorate.
“There is no question of merger with anybody” the press release asserted. It said that the  Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) had full faith in the wisdom of the Naga people and they would themselves not resort to any forms of false rumours and propaganda that spread lies.
