NDPP Mokokchung Region elects new office bearers

Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Mokokchung Region conducted the installation programme of its new office bearers for the tenure 2024–2027 on July 3, at the Sangtemla Ward Multi-purpose Hall.
The new team will be led by Repameren while the women organization will be led by Margaret. The new youth organization president will be N. Akok Lkr and Agri & Allied Organization president will by Repamangyang.
The programme was graced by advisor, Law & Justice and Land Revenue, T.N. Mannen, MLA, who delivered the keynote address. Mannen acknowledged the legacy and dedication of the party’s past leaders who laid the foundation for NDPP’s growth. He emphasized the importance of unity within the party, urging members to rise above petty differences in order to propel the party to greater heights.
Mannen called on the party’s new leadership to be mentally prepared for change, acknowledging that progress comes with challenges.
“Nagaland is a youthful society. Our responsibility is to turn that youth into a productive asset for the state,” he said.
He encouraged the new team to adopt innovative approaches, address emerging challenges, and focus on strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
The event was marked by the oath-taking and installation ceremony, initiated by working president, NDPP Nagaland, N. Bendang Jamir. Jamir formally read out the list of newly elected office bearers, including heads of various frontals—Region Office, Women Organization, Youth Organization, and Agri & Allied Organization—and administered the oath of office to the new team.
Earlier, the presidential address was delivered by president NDPP Mokokchung region, Mangyangnungba.
Acceptance speeches were also delivered by the presidents of all the frontals and the Mokokchung region. An exhortation speech was delivered by chairperson, Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC), Imkongchuba.
