NDPP Mokokchung region felicitates legislators

NDPP Mokokchung region has felicitated the six newly NDPP legislators including chairman from Mokokchung district on April 29.
The legislators were: NLA speaker, Sharingain Longkumer; minister of Rural Development and SIRD, Metsubo Jamir; advisor, Water Resources, Tongpang Ozukum; advisor, Law & Justice, Land Revenue, T N Manen; advisor, Transport & Technical Education, Temjenmenba; advisor, Minority Affairs & Sericulture, Imkongmar and chairman, DAN, Dr. watizulu Suzumeren Jamir.
Speaking on the occasion, T N Manen expressed gratitude to the party workers (NDPP) for their tireless in electing him. He assured to work towards social and economic development.
Manen also urged the people to be ready to absorb as delimitation might took place in 2026.
Temjenmenba in his speech said that after the meeting of the 11 Ao legislatures, they have collectively decided to bring about basic amenities in Mokokchung.
Imkongmar thanked NDPP Mokokchung for giving him the opportunity to be elected from NDPP ticket and promised to work hand in hand with the party workers to make Mokokchung region the base of NDPP.
Meanwhile, the handing and taking over of the NDPP Mokokchung region presidentship was administered by NDPP treasurer, Pangerzulu.
Short speeches were delivered by outgoing president N Bendang Jamir and incoming president, Mangyangnungba.
N Bendang Jamir has been assigned as working-president of NDPP central.
The dedicatory prayer was offered by Ngati Baptist church and the programme was chaired by vice-president, Lipokzulu while the vote of thanks was tendered by general secretary, Repameren.
