NDPP Pughoboto installs new team

NDPP Pughoboto region held an installation programme for its new office bearers (2024–2027) at RD Hall, Pughoboto on July 26.
Advisor for Legal Metrology and Consumer Protection, KT Sukhalu, who is also the MLA in charge of the region, attended as special guest. He highlighted Pughoboto’s fertile land and proximity to the state capital as key strengths, citing events like the Thanamir Apple Festival and Longmatra Mango Festival.
Sukhalu urged members to work with the state government for holistic development and reaffirmed the Chief Minister’s trust in Y Vikheho Swu’s leadership.
Newly appointed president of NDPP Agri and Allied Organisation, Y Vikheho Swu, thanked the chief minister and party leaders for their support and called for collective efforts to uplift the region.
Other speakers included NDPP CEB vice president Zhuwoto Kiba, joint secretary Lukiqhe Assumi, outgoing president Kughakhu Sheqi, and new president Viyikhu Wotsa.
The programme concluded with a general discussion on regional party affairs and saw participation from NDPP central and regional leaders, village chairmen and secretaries.
