NDPP Pughoboto region convened a general meeting with all the office bearers of various organisations under NDPP Pughoboto region on May 27 at the Regional Office, Pughoboto.
In a press release, Media Cell of NDPP, Pughoboto region informed that at the meeting, the members unanimously resolved to remain resolute with the party and co-operate with the newly formed government to work for the over-all development of the State.
The party also congratulated the pre-poll alliance of NDPP-BJP in Nagaland for returning with a thumping majority to form the government.
The party was confident that under the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio, the current dispensation will successfully tackle the major issues facing the Naga society, including the vexed Indo-Naga Political Issue.
Meanwhile, the party expressed gratitude to all the voters, who voted for the NDPP candidate, Y Vikheho Swu, and assured that the party will continue to work for the welfare of the region.
