Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) inaugurated its region office at Pughoboto. The office was inaugurated by NDPP secretary general Abu Metha.
In a press release, NDPP Pughoboto region media cell informed that Metha in his speech urged upon the people of Pughoboto to elect Vikheho not only for the betterment of Pughoboto, but also for benefit of all the Nagas. “If God willing, Rio government will continue beyond 2023 and Vikheho will be one of his commanders”, Metha claimed. He stated that the mini secretariat was a novel initiative of Y Vikheho Swu and added that the chief minister would be visiting next month to inaugurate the mini secretariat.
Delivering a speech at the inaugural session, Vikheho acknowledged the chief minister and NDPP president for upgrading the office from AC to region office and highlighted various policy and scheme.
At the programme, Yitachu, MLA, NDPP treasurer, Dr. John and NDPP advisor, Pughoboto region, Vihoto Shohe also delivered speeches. The inaugural session was attended by NDPP Women Wing president Vikali Zhimomi, youth president Imchatoba, president agri & allied organisation, Tali Pongen and a host of other office bearers.
