NDPP Razeba area welcomes PMGSY road project

DIMAPUR

NDPP party of Razeba area—representing Zhavame, Zelome, Tsüpfüme villages, and Razeba Adhoc-Town under the 17th Chizami Assembly Constituency—expressed gratitude to the Nagaland Government for sanctioning the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) road project connecting Pfutsero to Chilo.
During a meeting held at Razeba on June 10, the party acknowledged the leadership of chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio and extended special thanks to KG Kenye, minister of Power and Parliamentary Affairs, for supporting the project.
Describing the road as a “century-old, long-neglected route,” the party welcomed the government’s decision to finally recognize and develop it. They noted that the project was expected to enhance connectivity and improve economic opportunities for the region.
The party therefore called for timely completion and strict adherence to quality standards. They pledged their full cooperation with the Public Works Department (R&B) and encouraged the local community to support the ongoing work being carried out by M/s S.N Enterprises.
The party also warned against any attempts to obstruct the project’s progress, emphasizing the need for unity and collective responsibility to ensure smooth development.
This was stated in a joint press statement issued by Nasü Shupa, unit chairman NDPP Zhavame village, Motesou Rume unit chairman NDPP Zelome village, Zhonyi Rhi unit chairman, NDPP Tsüpfüme Village and Dakho Zholia NDPP Razeba Adhoc-Town.
