Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) central youth organisation on August 26 held a consultative meeting with the unemployed youth of Mokokchung district.
A press release by NDPP central youth organisation stated that during the meeting, advisor industries & commerce and employment, skill development & entrepreneurship, Imnatiba Jamir, who is also the legislator in-charge of the youth organisation, highlighted the youths on several career-oriented policies undertaken by the department for the unemployed youth.
Mokokchung district being the “land of pioneers”, Jamir urged the youths to set an exemplary way of life by becoming self-reliant.
The visiting team held a meeting with district skill committee headed by deputy commissioner Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir. At the meeting, the advisor encouraged the committee to incorporate party leaders and student bodies as co-opt members in various sub-committees in addressing the unemployment issues of the district.
