Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Tseminyu region has vehemently condemned the “physical assault and life attempt” on its general secretary Yhuntilo Kent at Tseminyu new town on April 18 night.
In a press release, NDPP Tseminyu region flays president Daniel Tep expressed anguish over the incident and said that “some savage minded lunatics” armed with iron bars, hammers and bricks attacked Kent with “an ill intention to cause grievous harm or to even commit murder of the first degree.”
NDPP Tseminyu region has appealed to the law enforcement agencies to take cognisance of the matter and expedite their task at the earliest and arrest “those unwanted elements who have no place to live in a civilized society.”
The party affirmed that it would leave no stone unturned till justice was served and the accused were caught and put behind bars. The region also wished speedy recovery to Yhuntilo Kent.
