NDPP Wokha region holds consultative meeting

National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), Wokha region held its get together and consultative meeting on January 16 at Longjung village under Wokha district.

A press release by NDPP Wokha region media cell stated that, general secretary NDPP and convener in-charge Wokha region, T.L Merry called upon the newly inducted office bearers and senior party workers in the district to work tirelessly for strengthening of the party.

In his short speech, NDPP agri & allied president, Tali Pongen highlighted on the importance of grassroot politics where they were told to gather more ideas from lower level to gain larger support to strengthen the party. He assured to extend support towards party workers in the agri-allied sector. 

Secretary NDPP Nagaland & CEB member, Wokha region, L. Meribemo Kinghen shared his experience in the political field and encouraged party workers to collect ideas and contribute towards uplifting the party.

Meanwhile during the meeting, Wokha region NDPP reaffirmed and extended unflinching support to the leadership of chief minister, Neiphiu Rio and chairman PDA and president NDPP Nagaland, Chingwang Konyak. 

NDPP Wokha region also extended gratitude to advisor, Horticulture and Border Affairs, Mhathung Yanthan and vice president NDPP Nagaland, Y. M Humtsoe for their assistance towards the success of the programme. 

Earlier, programme was chaired by president NDPP Wokha region, Yanpansao Lotha and vote of thanks by NDPP youth wing Wokha region president, Amos Odyuo.
