A team of 12th battalion National Disaster Response Forces (NDRF) carried out a plantation drive in view of Akhil Bhartiya Vriksha Ropan at regimental school, 4th BN NAP, Thizama village, Kohima, on Wednesday.
The plantation drive was carried out in collaboration with the regimental school staff under the supervision of deputy commandant, 12th BN NDRF P.N. Singh.
P.N. Singh informed that the team planted more than 300 saplings of fruit bearing plants, medicinal plants and other species.
He further informed that such plantation drives would be carried out within Nagaland in the future.
