NE INRC organise driver’s talent hunt

In order to promote enthusiast drivers from northeast and provide opportunities at national and international level, Nagaland Adventure Club (NAC) and Blue Band organized Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) at Agri Expo, Dimapur on Monday.
Gaurav Gill who is the first sportsperson from motorsports to receive the coveted Arjuna award from the President of India in 2019, three times Asian Pacific champion, eight times Indian champion, World Rally Championship (WRC) participant, said that the objective of the event was to search for fresh talents in sports rally from northeast and to push new drivers of motorsports in right direction. Gill also informed that the sole winner will get chance for a free drive in round one of INRC 2023.
Babit Lyndong was adjudged the winner for the event, while Ronan Bazely and Kevin Puro were declared first and second runners up, respectively.
A total of 25 participants turned up for the event which also included a female driver. Earlier, in the event NAC president, Burakum delivered the welcome address.
