North East Catholic Community (NECC) in Bangalore celebrated Easter Sunday with great joy and enthusiasm. The liturgy was led by Rev. Fr. Dionysius Vaz SJ, the Jesuit Provincial of Karnataka. The event was held in a peaceful and reverent atmosphere.
The program included a solemn Holy Eucharistic Ceremony and a touching recognition for the outgoing nuns and priests from the North East states. The event was further enlivened by a cultural performance from the Good Shepherd Convent Boarders and a soulful solo by Jemima isla.
The main highlight of the program was the unveiling of the theme song, composed by Mark D Lawbor and Alexander Pamei. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Lindsy Thonger, bringing the joyous Easter celebrations to a close.
