North East Christian University (NECU) organized an interaction program titled “Bridging Borders: Nursing Careers in Germany” with employers from Germany to create awareness about international career opportunities in nursing on September 9, 2025. The session brought together students, parents, and faculty members for an open and meaningful discussion on the future of nursing careers in the global market.
In his address, Pro Chancellor Prof. Dr. Darlando Khathing welcomed the German team and participants, reaffirming NECU’s commitment to building strong and lasting collaborations. He emphasized that it was not a one-time initiative, but a serious steps towards creating genuine pathways for our students and youths to step into the international job market with confidence.”
During the session, PM&HR,CTC, Director, Er.Kapil Thapa, encouraged the youth to think boldly about their future, noting that their degrees were like wings. if they only fly in circles near home, they will never know how vast the sky truly is. He emphasized that nursing was a borderless profession, and the program aimed to help them use their skills to explore the world, not just one place.
The program also created space to address the apprehensions of parents and students regarding migration to Germany. The interaction concluded with a live Q&A session.
